How Unicode fonts work

Unicode assigns a number to every character. Latin A is U+0041. Mathematical bold A is U+1D400. Glyphora keeps a table for each style and walks your string. Characters without a mapping stay as typed: spaces, most punctuation, and unsupported scripts.
Why the result is deterministic
There is no random glitch, except styles that apply a combining mark derived from the character’s own code. That still repeats. Refreshing the page will not invent a new look.
Holes in the math alphabets
The Unicode Consortium left gaps in some blocks and reused older letterlike symbols instead. Script B is ℬ, not the naive offset. Italic h is ℎ. Glyphora uses those exceptions so copy-paste stays valid.
